Gentle Yoga

Gentle Yoga is a gentle, slower paced, down-regulating practice. It incorporates gentle movement to welcome release in the physical body and promote mind-body awareness. This class is a great starting point for those new to yoga and advanced practitioners looking to reconnect to the subtly of the postures.

Power Vinyasa

Power Vinyasa is a strong, powerful, energetic practice that draws on the physicality of the practice. Dynamic movement is merged with the rhythm of breath to build heat, endurance, flexibility, strength, concentration, and stamina. Postures are incorporated into progressive sequences to make the class accessible and rewarding for all. Expect intelligent sequencing crafted around sun salutations, standing & seated postures, bending, standing balances, arm balancing, and inversions.

Restorative

Restorative classes are pure bliss. A relaxing practice in which the body is fully supported by props. Poses are held for extended periods of time to promote full relaxation, calming of the nervous system and rejuvenation of the mind-body-spirit connection. Affectionately known as “sleep class”, Restorative yoga helps you achieve a deeper sleep and calm throughout the day.

 

Slow Flow Vinyasa

Slow Flow Vinyasa brings the element of time into the practice. Time for you to explore the postures and how to move, breathe, engage and stretch in your body. This pace allows you to mentally engage with your body as it moves and provides the opportunity to notice when the ‘monkey mind’ becomes distracted. This is an all levels practice, ideal for the beginner the more advanced yoga practitioner. There is much to learn within the reflective pace of Slow Flow. Poses can be modified, refined and strengthened, without feeling rushed into the next move, next breath, or next pose. Slow Flow allows you to become familiar with the sensations within, create a reflective pause and the time to go inward. Slow Flow is a beautiful therapeutic dance of moving meditation.

 

Sunrise Vinyasa

Welcome the sun and the new day with a sweet morning flow class to gently awaken and invigorate your whole being. This practice helps create suppleness in the mind and body. Join us as we set a positive intention for the day.

Vinyasa (Flow)

Vinyasa’s (aka Flow) signature is the movement of the body through various postures seamlessly connected with breath. This is devotion in motion. Mindfully moving your body to create warmth, endurance, clarity, flexibility, and strength. Sequencing is thoughtfully crafted around sun salutations, standing & seated postures, bending and balancing.

Yin

Yin Yoga is the practice of passively holding stretches for several minutes to release tension stored in the connective tissue (joints, ligaments, fascia) of the body. Yin helps to restore and maintain the natural mobility of the joints, support a greater range of motion in the body, reduce the risk of injury, and increase overall energy while calming the nervous system. Energetically Yin Yoga opens the body’s meridian system to enhance and free energetic flow. Yin yoga is accessible to everyone. This class encourages quiet stillness allowing for self-discovery and rejuvenation.

Yin + Restorative

Create space in your day to stretch slowly, find calm and relaxation in this gently nourishing blend of Yin and Restorative Yoga. Yin Yoga stretches target the body's connective tissue, helping to release tension, realign posture and open energy channels, while gentle supported Restorative poses aim to restore balance to body, mind and spirit. 

 

Yin Yang

A balanced practice of deep stretching (yin) and flowing vinyasa movement (yang). The breath connects these two different styles of yoga, creating space and easing tension in the body. All levels welcome.

Aerial Slow Flow

Aerial Slow Flow + Stretch is a certified AIReal™ yoga class. A yoga hammock is used as a prop to explore, deepen and engage yoga poses in a new perspective. Slow Flow + Stretch is a mix of slow, gentle movements connected with breath to create space and release tension in the body. This is similar to a traditional yoga class on the floor, where we may use any number of props such as a block, a blanket, a strap or a bolster to help assist in our practice. In aerial yoga we use the hammock throughout the entire class almost as a super-prop that assists us in varying ways across a multitude of postures, seamlessly transitioning from one position to the next. The hammock singularly supports, deepens and challenges each students’ yoga practice.

Aerial Restorative

Aerial Restorative is a certified AIReal™ yoga class. We lower the hammocks and add in the additional comforts of blankets and bolsters to create a very restful experience. A yoga hammock is used as a prop to explore, deepen and engage yoga poses in a new perspective. This is similar to a traditional yoga class on the floor, where we may use any number of props such as a block, a blanket, a strap or a bolster to help assist in our practice. In aerial yoga we use the hammock throughout the entire class almost as a super-prop that assists us in varying ways across a multitude of postures, seamlessly transitioning from one position to the next. The hammock singularly supports, deepens and challenges each students’ yoga practice.
